Treads N Tails is Chicago’s first mobile dog treadmill service. Our Van is climate controlled and our doggie treadmill is manually powered by the pup, and regulated by a hand-breaking disk. Distance and speed are tracked.
It’s an excellent service for dogs who don’t do well in group settings, need structured activity, or need activity during the day to avoid daycare. Right to your door!
Our goal is provide pups with a unique blend of activities to fit each of their needs. We offer a variety of personalized pet care and enrichment services. - Which include Gps tracked dog walks, pack walks, doggie jogs, pet (vet-daycare) transportation, in-house sitting, and more.
All with tender, loving care from highly experienced pet handlers Dayna Crawford and Arianna Olson.
Why choose the dog powered treadmill?
The slat-mill gives your dog a task to focus on. Engaging their mind and body, they have to work with the moving track during workouts to keep a pace. It increases mental stimulation and helps the dog feel important and fulfilled. Tired or worked dogs have improved training outcomes, better social interactions, and can decrease in hyperactivity. It allows them to exercise, regardless of weather conditions.
